　　Jan 26 was a sad day. Kobe Bryant, one of the greatest NBA players of all time, died in a helicopter crash (直升飞机失事) in California, US on that day. The terrible crash also killed his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant and seven other people. Bryant was 41 years old.People were shocked (震惊的) and heartbroken after hearing about Bryant’s sudden death. In the basketball world, Bryant was a superstar. He had a great influence (影响) in the NBA. He was a basketball prodigy (神童), jumping into the NBA straight from high school. He was a loyal (忠诚的) player. He played for the Los Angeles Lakers for 20 years. He was fast, skillful and aggressive (有攻击性的). People gave him the nickname Black Mamba after one of the most deadly snakes in the world. His competitive philosophy (竞争哲学) was known as the “Mamba Mentality”.“Mamba mentality is you’re going, you’re competing, you’re not worried about the end result,” Bryant once said.We’ll never see the Black Mamba play another game. ? But we’ll always remember how great he was.
